Experimental radiology

We are a group of scientists (physicists, mathematicians) in the University Clinic of Radiology at the Medical University of Innsbruck and act as a service and competence center for external institutions.

We offer specialized support in routine, training and research in the areas of radiation protection and quality assurance, MR tomography, radiological image data processing, operation planning and model building. The focus of our work is interdisciplinary, mutual cooperation and communication with our medical colleagues, students and radiology technologists. We work independently, performance-oriented, creatively and objectively.
Our services are adapted to the needs of the various radiological areas. The basis of our actions is the professional interest in our respective specialist areas and the prospect of contributing to improving patient care through our work. We strive to continually improve our services and keep them up to date with the latest scientific standards.
