This research group focuses on the development, validation, standardization, and application of quantitative methods for magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). A key area of interest is the measurement of iron and myelin in the brain using quantitative MRI methods. This is particularly significant as the concentration of iron and myelin in the brain is altered in various neurological disorders.
